A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
My name is Sarah Allison and I was born and raised in Fredericton, Canada.I completed my Bachelor of Arts (Science & Technology Studies, French) and Bachelor of Education (Elementary) at St. Thomas University. Upon graduation I took the first step in my career as an educator and moved to Wuhu, China!
In 2013, I began my first year of teaching at Anhui Concord-College of Sino Canada teaching grade 9 English Language, grade 10 and 12 writing, as well as grade 8, 9 and 10 IT. Although experiencing life in rural China was amazing, the following year I moved to Shenzhen, China to teach grade 2 at the International School of Nanshan Shenzhen (ISNS). Over the last 4 years, I have had the opportunity to play an active role in developing numerous units of inquiry (UOI) as ISNS went through its successful authorization to become an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.
Teaching abroad has been brought with it so many learning experiences, professional development and opportunities to travel!
My interests beyond the classroom include traveling, reading, being outdoors as well as spending time with friends and family.
